Alison Hernandez

Alison first encountered the UIC when she was working to create Safer Communities in Torbay and was impressed by the tools and techniques which enabled a greater involvement of people in her community projects. Subsequently she commissioned the UIC to train a range of police and council officers along with volunteers, the results being that more and more people were willing and wanted to get involved in tackling crime and disorder and a realistic and deliverable partnership strategy was developed and almost achieved in its entirety.
