Zoe Woodward

Zoe began her career as Technical Assistant with Calor Gas, project managing the installation of domestic bulk gas tanks across the Southern region. She then worked as Export Packing Manager for a freight forwarding company successfully gaining ISO accreditation for the business. She moved to recruiting for niche roles and sales management for NatWest. In 2006 she relocated to Derbyshire establishing her own jewellery retail business for 6 years. Following a caring experience for a family member, Zoe joined the charitable sector in end-of-life care as Fundraising and Business Manager for eight years. All her roles have been customer focused.

Zoe became aware of the UIC through a likeminded colleague who had experience of a UIC event. Investigating further she found the ethos and aims of the business aligned with her own "to do good work for good people."

Zoe lives in Matlock with her husband, with one child at Uni and the other in their teens. Family outings are walking in the beautiful surrounding countryside (finishing at the local of course – use it or lose it!) and live music gigs. Recently Zoe has dabbled with vegetable growing, with varying success, loves an interior design project and as her running days are over due to injury, enjoys swimming.
