Carly Flemming

Carly first encountered the UIC in 2023 when introduced to UIMPROVE while working in local government. When the chance became available to join the team and help organisations apply UIMPROVE, she couldn't resist and worked as a Consultant with us from 2023 until 2025. From 2026 she has cut back on her hours and continues as an Associate.

Prior to this she worked in a range of sectors and roles that were contributing to healthier people and places. This included public health nutrition, public infrastructure, community engagement and environmental sustainability. She has been lucky enough to live through the good, the bad and the non-existence of organisations pursuing improvement.

Carly lives on Gumbaynggirr Country on the NSW Mid North Coast. Between assignments with the UIC she is completing her Master of Naturopathic Medicine.
