Kestrel is our Performance Management System and the culmination of many years of experience and development during which time we have studied and built on best practice in performance attribution, analysis, reporting, control and improvement.

Kestrel is in use in both Australia and the UK and has been specifically designed so it can be rapidly customised for any mode (rail, light rail, tram, bus and ferry or multi-modal networks), performance regime or data source. Clients include Yarra Trams in Melbourne, one of the largest tram networks in the world, Caledonian Sleeper, operating just seven trains a day and Transport for London, responsible for monitoring trains on the UK's newest piece on infrastructure, the Elizabethan Line.

Kestrel's modular structure means that standard modules such as Enquiries and Analytical Tools can sit alongside customised functionality for specific operations. We believe we can offer unbeatable timescales and we always deliver on time.

As an Organisational Improvement consultancy with a particular expertise in public transport and not just a software provider, we are able to provide training, facilitation and consultancy in both the use of the Kestrel and, more importantly, the managerial skills required to improve performance. This includes how develop performance strategies and how to set up and run performance improvement processes and projects. This is enhanced by our wide experience of other industries meaning we are not constrained in our thinking by any one set of norms and practices.
